Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Looking for books to change your life? Here’s book number 4 that did that for me.
Enjoy de video below!
Why you should read Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man:
- As I mentioned in the video, this book is for you if you’re in a current long term relationship that is stuck or you don’t feel like it’s heading where you want it. Be prepared to change your life when you read it!
- It’s also for you if you’re a single woman wanting to date with marriage or long term partnership being your goal.
My biggest takeaway from Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man and the impact it’s had on my life:
- My biggest takeaway was learning a lot about romantic relationships in general. Not having positive examples of healthy romantic relationships growing up, I learned a lot more about male and female dynamics that no one in my life was talking about at the time.
- Putting the controversy of the author aside (Steve Harvey is 3 times divorced after all), I do think learning how to open my mind, be flexible and enjoy the dating process, was invaluable!
- The biggest impact for me was learning how to date! Although I was in a relationship when I read the book, after I broke it off with him, I started dating for fun. It was a new concept for me since I was a serial monogamist. In case you don’t know what that is, it’s someone who is in a series of long term relationships.
- Doing this took a lot of the pressure off and I really focused on enjoying friendships with a variety of men I wouldn’t have considered before.
