Welcome!  It’s your girl Esha here of Carnivalista Lifestyle.  One question I’m sure you’ve asked yourself throughout your life is, “Why Do I Always Get Hurt?”  I’ve been there many times to so this video talks about it and offers you 2 tips to learn to trust again.  Tek a watch below!

Learning How To Trust Again…

Know this.  Learning how to trust again is a process!  It’s not a switch you’re going to flip and voila!  You’re trusting again.  It takes repetitive and consistent action to check in with your gut feelings.  You also have to continuously observe and understand the behavior you’re seeing from the person you want to trust.

As I mentioned in the video, here are 2 steps that I took after leaving my boyfriend in 2015 and before meeting my current hubby:

    1. Create a work-love balance.  Make room for yourself in your own life!  You’ve done it with relationships throughout your life, but you don’t hold yourself in the same high regard.  Change that today.
    2. Love yuhself more!  This is wisdom from my mom and my auntie village.  Don’t just listen to someone’s words, pay close attention to their actions.  The actions they display towards you NEVER lie.  E.g.: do they text how much they care but you’ve never had an actual conversation about how they feel?  Side note: I had a boyfriend who did this all the time!  Do they do something for you just because they heard you mention you were going to do it for yourself?  When you request something of them, do they do it?  Are they on time when they promise to meet you?  These are all good behaviors to observe BEFORE making room for them in your life.

These 2 steps of how to trust again can also be in ANY relationship, not just a romantic one.  I have also used these steps successfully to build my fram-a-lay around me!
